Well the annual event is here again and I’m happy to say last year we had  a group of 24 of us plus the regular Cadillac people. For all you folks that would like the details about the river that we will be canoeing on it is called the "Rifle River" in Sterling MI. The trip is usually put on by Cadillac Group at General Motors, which means a bunch of my Dad’s buddies. They have been doing this trip on the same river for over 32 years. However, we started to start the WESTPORT Canoe Trip this year for a number of reasons and we have a big enough group to do it now.

New for this year:

bulletOfficial name change to WESTPORT Canoe Trip.
bulletBring something for the Saturday suprise read below
bulletNumber of years we have been doing it as the WESTPORT Canoe trip 3 years.
bulletNew Campgrounds Riverview
bulletNO Cadillac People.
bulletAll pets must be on a leash.
bulletCANOE or TUBE: This year you will have the option to tube or canoe down the river. Doug wants to tube down the river and I figure after all these years I would give it a shot since all I end up doing is floating down the river anyway. So you will have the option to tube or canoe down the river. If you Tube you can get another tube for your COOLER  or attach yourself to a CANOE.

PRICES

bulletThe prices listed in this web page are FINAL. You DO NOT have a canoe or tube until I have cash in my hand. I can tell you the lists of people that say there going and at the last minute something comes up? Everyone has these things however the campground doesn't give me a refund so I can't give you a refund. I can't tell you all the money I lost because of this. The entire amount is DUE up front no partial payment or I'll pay you when I get my check stuff. I have chased people down year after year to get $20 bucks? Lets just make this fun and simple send me the FULL amount to:
bulletMoney is due by August 5th 2000
bulletThere is a total of 26 people going this year from our group. Who ever doesn't give me the money for the trip before AUGUST 5th 2000 will pay a $5 late fee which will go toward the FIREWOOD
