WESTPORT Canoe Trip 2004
August 13h, 14th, & 15th 2003

WE OWN THE LAND.

MONEY DUE JULY 10th or face the LATE fee.

Last year worked out great at Norms place on the 26 acre lot. Everyone had a great time and had plenty of space to camp and the place was kept up. The quad trip to the trails 10 miles away went great too. All in all I think this is going to be the place for us for the years to come. We also had a tent setup last year incase it rained so we had a safe shelter for everyone. The RV was in full effect at the place where we did a lot of cooking for everyone. Tents and RV are welcome so bring whatever you wish just let me know prior if you plan on brining a camper or RV. Doug and Mary ended up going Tubing down the River and said it was the perfect length to TUBE. Little Anthony also had a great time this year. KIDS are welcome this year if you wish to bring them they are more then welcome to come.

For those of you that venture up to the rifle river will find this year we have located 26 acre lot in which we will be camping. A friend of mine owns a house up North and has given us the permission to camp on his land. The place we will be staying at has a house on it so we have gotten permission to use the back bathroom of the house to take showers. There will be 2 porta potties(which will be CLEANED and Fresh before we get there)  located onsite for our use along with the use of my RV. The place is located 1/2 mile from the Rifle rive so we are within walking distance of the river. The bus will pick up canoers at the end of the drive way and hall us to the location where we choose to canoe from. The drop off (PUBLIC LANDING) will be located 1/2 mile from where we are staying:

Few new options this year and some of the favorites.

For all you folks that would like the details about the river that we will be canoeing on it is called the "Rifle River" in Sterling MI.
